Over 12 years of hands-on clinical experience in emergency medicine and critical care, with deep knowledge of how medications are ordered, dispensed, monitored, and tested in hospital settings.
I am a Doctor of Pharmacy and Board-Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist with over 15 years of clinical experience in emergency medicine, neurovascular intensive care, burn critical care, and clinical toxicology.
Residency Trained: I completed two ASHP-accredited residency years — a PGY1 in Pharmacy Practice followed by a PGY2 in Critical Care — giving me a foundation few expert witnesses in this space can match.
Built Programs from the Ground Up: Early in my career I established clinical pharmacy services in a high-volume emergency department — creating treatment algorithms for anticoagulant-related bleeding, acute stroke thrombolysis, and severe skin reactions. I served as the primary pharmacotherapy resource for physicians, nurses, and case managers across one of the most complex patient populations in medicine.
Educator: I have taught pharmacotherapeutics to graduate nursing students as an Adjunct Professor, and lectured at the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy in Applied Therapeutics and Critical Care. I hold a Scholarship and Teaching Certificate from UT College of Pharmacy. This means I can explain complex drug science clearly — to attorneys, juries, and judges alike.
Published Researcher: My work has appeared in peer-reviewed journals including the Annals of Pharmacotherapy and Hospital Pharmacy, and been presented at national conferences including the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
I accept both plaintiff and defense engagements, work independently of my employer on all consulting matters, and maintain full independence in every opinion I provide.
